Wayne Dyer New BookWayne Dyer describes how Spirit led him to liquidate all of his assets and devote the next part of
his life to intrepreting the 81 verses of the Tao. He then created a book, "Change your Thoughts,
Change Your Life." Doesn't that sound familiar.... I have started to do one verse every 2 days,
with journaling any application of the verse or my understanding of how the ideas might apply in my life. I find it
refreshing and very thoughtful work and highly recommend it. If you go to the Inspiritational Video and Books on my

The first Verse is "Living in the Mystery",
he goes to say the Tao (Spirit) is an unknowable, unseeable realm where everythiing originates; while at the same time,
the Tao (Spirit) is invisiblly within everything. We can not define IT in terms of the outer world of form, yet as the
world around us unfolds we are to first and formost, enjoy the mystery. To practice letting go of always naming
and labeling, and must bask in the magnificence of what is seen and sensed, instead of always memorizing and catagorizing.
Dyer offers at the end of each chapter homework, "Do the Tao Now"... this particular verse asks us to notice
an instance of annoyance or irritation you may have with another person or situation. Decide to do the Tao and turn within
and notice where you are on the continuum between desire and allowing. Permit the paradox of wanting the irritant to
vanish and allowing it to be what it is. Look inward for it in your thoughts and allow yourself to feel it wherever
it is and however it moves in your body.
